Happy are they that have their hope in God;
God sets the prisoner free and opens the eyes of the blind, and cares for the orphan and the stranger.
God heals the brokenhearted and heals.
God is wise.
Acts 14
Paul and Barnabas were in Derby and healed a paralytic and the people treated them as Romans gods; we are mortals but the crowds wanted to do sacrifice to them.Listen to God who gives you all things. A crowd of Jewish got the crowd to stone Paul leaving him for dead, but he got up and left.
Luke 7
A woman enters into a party of Pharisees and Jesus and she anoints Jesus feet with her hair; Pharisees - she is unclean; Jesus - she how she serves me; what are you doing to serve?

Collect for the Day
Lord, we pray that your grace may always precede and follow us, that we may continually be given to good works; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
For Mission
Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hardwood of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen
A Pilgrim's Blessing
May the babe of Bethlehem be yours to tend;
May the boy of Nazareth be yours for friend;
May the man of Galilee his healing send;
May the Christ of Calvary his courage lend;
May the Risen Lord his presence send
And his holy angels defend you, to the end.  Amen
