Why I Love to Pray!!

In the 1970’s I was told by my Spiritual Advisor that he thought I was being called to of a life of prayer for others. I told him, “I have no skills for that.” But, I sensed he was right and he reminded me, God often calls people to do things they can’t do, so that they will depend on God. David was a kid;   Moses had a speech impediment;   Jeremiah was a 12-year-old “cry baby”;   Mary was an unwed teenager;   Sarah was too old to have children;   Rahab was a prostitute,   and the (Bible goes) on and on it goes (with examples.) But the joy of praying for others is an incredible joy for me! Because prayer is a relationship with the One who loves us all!! It is NOT an activity; NOT a theology; NOT a technique; NOT a skill.
