Day 102 - Second Sunday in Easter

Read  |    Sunday | April 12 | 1 Chronicles 9:35-39 | 1 Samuel 13:1-5, 19-22, 6-18 | 1 Samuel 13:23 – 14:52 Date  | 1050 B.C. - King Saul (Israel) Background |  Like the books of Samuel and Kings, Chronicles was originally one book that was divided into two by those who translated the original Hebrew manuscripts into Greek (the Septuagint). But Chronicles is not merely a repetition of Samuel/Kings; rather, it tells Israel’s story very differently.
