The Way of Love - Practices for a Jesus-Centered Life The Episcopal Parish of St. John the Baptist , Portland, Oregon, is nestled in the woods of the Oregon Episcopal School. The parish serves as a worshipping community boldly grounded in growing faith and service for all ages. During the academic year, the Parish sponsors adult forums in a wide variety of topics of current concerns for Christians in our time. Katheryn and I (The Rev. Katheryn M. King and Dave Eitland) were asked to introduce the new initiative of the Episcopal Church on spirituality in daily life. Presiding Bishop Michael Curry at the General Convention “rolled out” the Way of Love as an invitation for believers to develop daily practices to deepen faith.
