Jesus came out of the Temple; the disciples noticed the beauty of the Temple; Jesus said that the Temple will be torn down; you will be persecuted and killed - the Holy Spirit will be with you and the one that endures to the end will be saved.

Collect for the Day
Almighty God, you have given your only Son to be for us a sacrifice for sin, and also an example of godly life: Give us grace to receive thankfully the fruits of his redeeming work, and to follow daily in the blessed steps of his most holy life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
For Mission
Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen.

For Peace Among Nations

Almighty God our heavenly Father,

guide the nations of the world

into the way of justice and truth,

and establish among them that peace

which is the fruit of righteousness,

that they may become the kingdom

of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
