Peter - You are alien and exiles since you are from God;
Accept authority of the government; do right and silence the ignorance;
Honor everyone; love the family of believers; use Jesus as an example.

John 15 | Background | 140 AD | Exhortation on love and abiding in God.
Jesus - Love one another; the world hates you but you belong to God.
If you deny me you deny God; lay down your life for friends; I chose you;

come.

Collect of the Day | Second Sunday of Easter
Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery
established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all
who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ's Body may
show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
For Mission
Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hardwood
of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving
embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands
in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and
love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen.
