Better a dry morsel in quiet than a feast with strife.

Grandchildren are the crown of the aged.

A friend loves at all times.

The one who begets a fool will have nothing but trouble.

A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only expressing
Personal opinion.

A proverb is a statement of apparent truth that is based on
human experience and has endured over time. Attributed to
King Solomon but the composition of the book happened over
Centuries. Wisdom is a central character of the book along with
a woman of substance. The beauty of the book is that you can
focus on one verse or read the entire book as a literary whole.

Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us, at last, to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
