Dear Friends in Christ,

Edwards Key points -

  • Edwards does an excellent job in short explanations to give the historical setting of the year we are looking at. Get the book.

  • Israel under foreign occupation

  • Early Christian community lived together and shared everything in common.

My Thoughts-

  • Peter and John are proclaiming Jesus and are arrested by Sadducees.

  • These religious leaders did NOT believe in the resurrection.

  • They order P & J to stop. Peter says we obey God’s authority alone.

  • In session without P & J Sadducees decide to tell them to stop preaching and they are release and do it anyway

  • Peter prays for the community of believers.

  • Early community shared everything in common, even property.

How do you use your possessions to advance the cause of God?

In Christ,
