Before engaging in any work …
O beloved Jesus, along with this work of this day
I dedicate myself to you in soul and body.
O Jesus, treasure of my heart,
make ardent my love for you.
O Jesus, my hope and my comforting joy,
let me do your will always.
O Jesus, savior of the world,
strengthen and help me. Amen

Edwards has asked us to pause and read the Letter to the Galatians.
I am using NOAB5, Galatians, text and notes as the source of this background for you.
Chapter 2
Paul continues his heated explanation
to the community of believers in Galatia.
Paul worked for the gospel 14 years with Barnabas and Titus. Titus does NOT follow the Law (Judaism).
Paul notes false teachers came to Galatia and told them the WRONG thing. We are saved solely through Jesus Christ.
Paul takes a shot at Peter aka Cephas for being Jewish when the Jews were around and Gentile when they weren’t.
V. 16 - ...we know that a person is justified not by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, not by doing works of the law, because no one will be justified through the law.
Paul declares the Christ now lives in him like any other Christian. It is because Jesus loves him/me and gave himself for him/me.
If not Jesus died for nothing.
