Psalm 37 -   Literary type - Wisdom Psalm that teaches a doctrine of the church (click here). Don't fret about evil doer for they will fade; take delight in the Lord; Trust the Lord; be still and be patient for the Lord; don't be mad for it leads to evil; they will disappear; the lowly and the righteous will get it all; 

Amos 9 - God says I will seek justice no matter where they go; they can't hide from the Lord.

Revelation 2 -  Jesus is the first and the last; do not fear what you are about to suffer and be faithful to death; keep the faith; keep pure; listen to what is said (?)

Matthew 23 - woe to church leaders who are hypocrites; they are blind fools for they have not; which is greater God or the gifts that you think are God; you forget justice, mercy, and justice.

A Collect for the Renewal of Life

O God, the King eternal, who divides the day from the night and turns the shadow of death into the morning: Drive far from us all wrong desires, incline our hearts to keep your law, and guide our feet into the way of peace; that, having done your will with cheerfulness while it was day, we may, when night comes, rejoice to give you thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
