Psalm 37 | Wisdom |  The principal aim of the wisdom psalms is to teach
the doctrine that faithful obedience to the revealed will of God brings
material and spiritual prosperity | Wait on the Lord - the lowly shall
process the Lord - the Lord upholds the righteous.

Acts 13 | Background - buy the book
The Holy Spirit called Barnabas and Paul - they went Papous - Paul calls
out false prophet and he was blinded - the Pro Council believed in God.

John 9 |
Jesus heals a blind man on the sabbath; the man is taken to the Pharisees
and interrogated. How can Jesus violate the Sabbath rules? He must not
be from God. They turn to the blind man and asked who Jesus was? A
Prophet.

Prayers and Intercessions
Collect for Week
O God of strength, without you we are weak and wayward creatures.
Protect us from all dangers that attack us from outside, and cleanse us
from all evil that arises from ourselves, that we may be preserved
through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen

For Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore:
Let the whole earth also worship you, all nations obey you,
all tongues confess and bless you, and men and women
everywhere love you and serve you in peace; through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For Our Ministry
Welcoming God, at tables around the world, through story
and meal, strangers become guests and guests become friends.
Embolden us to always extend the wide-armed welcome
You extend to us.
