Psalm 72 | Of Solomon
A prayer for the king to prosper and extend God’s rule to all lands |
May have been used on an anniversary of rule |
Various blessings and good things that they may happen to the king;
But - Blessed be YHWH, the God of Israel.

Acts 16 | Note that the text is now in the second person - “we” |
Paul ws there and ran into a woman that others were making money
off her as she was a seer; Paul gets annoyed with her shouting about
them and casts out the spirit and she could do her gift no more; her
“Employers” got the crowd to arrest Paul and he was thrown into jail.

John 12 |
There was a festival where Greeks came to see Jesus - They found Philip
who found Andrew whom found Jesus. Jesus uses the illustration of a
seed being planted that it was his time to die and be given new life.
Follow me and the Father will give them eternal life

O God, because without you we are not able to please you, mercifully
grant that your Holy Spirit may in all things direct and rule our hearts;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

For Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore:
Let the whole earth also worship you, all nations obey you,
all tongues confess and bless you, and men and women
everywhere love you and serve you in peace; through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For Our Ministry
Jesus calls us to know who we are and to give up our lives for others.
That we have the faith to live as Jesus did, let us pray for all in
need.
